1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using DinnerDone ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

DinnerDone is a meal planning application that allows users to:

• Store and organize recipes
• Import recipes from URLs and images using AI
• Generate weekly meal plans
• Create grocery lists based on meal plans
• Receive meal preparation reminders

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (recipes, meal plans, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the service
• Send your content to AI services for processing (recipe parsing, meal suggestions)
• Create backups for service reliability

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store any recipes or content you add to the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
• Upload malicious content or attempt to disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission

6. AI-Generated Content

The App uses AI to parse recipes and generate meal suggestions. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• You should review and verify AI-parsed recipes before using them
• Meal suggestions are recommendations, not professional dietary advice
• You are responsible for any food allergies or dietary restrictions

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and features, is owned by DinnerDone. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Use our trademarks without permission

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services (authentication providers, AI services). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Subscriptions and Payments

DinnerDone offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions:

• DinnerDone Pro Monthly: Billed monthly at the current subscription price
• DinnerDone Pro Annual: Billed annually at the current subscription price

Free Trial: New subscribers may be eligible for a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.

Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes: Subscription prices may change. You will be notified of any price changes in advance and given the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

• Continuous, uninterrupted access to the service
• Accuracy of AI-generated content
• That the App will meet your specific requirements

THE APP IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL NUTRITIONAL OR MEDICAL ADVICE.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DinnerDone shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data or content
• Any health issues related to recipes or meal suggestions

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state where DinnerDone is incorporated.
